Common Questions

When is the best time to visit Morocco?

The most comfortable times to visit are during the spring (mid-March to May) and autumn (September to November). During these months, the weather is warm and pleasant, perfect for exploring the bustling medinas or trekking the Atlas Mountains, while avoiding the extreme summer heat of the Sahara Desert.

How should I dress when visiting Morocco?

Morocco is a conservative, predominantly Muslim country. Out of respect for the local culture, both men and women should dress modestly, particularly outside of international hotels. It is best to wear loose-fitting clothing that covers the shoulders and knees. A light scarf is also handy for women visiting religious sites.

What is a luxury desert camp experience like?

Our desert camps offer a magical, “glamping” experience in the Sahara. You will ride camels over the dunes at sunset before arriving at a private camp featuring spacious canvas tents, comfortable beds, and en-suite bathrooms. The evening is spent enjoying traditional Berber cuisine, music, and stargazing around a campfire.

Is it safe to travel in Morocco?

Yes, Morocco is one of the most politically stable and safest countries in North Africa for tourists. The locals are incredibly hospitable and welcoming. As with any major tourist destination, it is always wise to be mindful of your belongings in crowded places like the souks (markets) of Marrakech and Fes.
